A Stable Cinderella

Girls who dedicate their time to taking care of their horses lead a lifestyle I like to call “A Stable Cinderella.” We are somewhat servants to these animals, yet, our lives are always full of adventure and love. If the tall boot/muck boot fits, us horse girls wear them for life.

When my boyfriend bought me my camera, my first project focused on horses. They are challenging, yet, rewarding to photograph. Featured in the photos below is Cindi Weeks, a professional dressage trainer and rider, and her partner, Willy Tango. I was fortunate to have boarded my horse with Cindi at Wildflower Farms in Charleston, South Carolina. She lives for horses, and does anything to keep her horses and customers “stable” and happy. I hope these photos capture the essence of their spirits. They make a stunning pair.
